Safety & Eligibility
Permanent jewelry services are available to clients of all ages; however, clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at the time of service. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for consent, fit approval, and ongoing care.
Permanent jewelry is not recommended for individuals with implanted medical devices, including but not limited to pacemakers, defibrillators, or neurostimulators, due to the brief welding process involved.
Permanent jewelry may also not be suitable for individuals with known metal allergies, active skin conditions on or near the wrist, circulation issues, or medical conditions that affect skin healing.
For children, permanent jewelry should be carefully considered due to growth, activity level, and the potential need for future removal. Mile High Linked is not responsible for resizing or removal due to growth-related changes.
Pregnancy is not automatically a contraindication; however, changes such as swelling, the need for medical imaging, or unexpected medical care may require jewelry removal. Pregnant clients are advised to consult with their healthcare provider prior to booking.
Clients whose occupation, lifestyle, or medical needs require frequent removal of jewelry may not be appropriate candidates for permanent jewelry, as removal requires cutting the chain.
By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge and accept responsibility for their participation and confirm they have reviewed and understand these guidelines.
